All enrolments for 4 year old kindergarten are centrally managed for our area by Hobsons Bay City Council.
Children must be 4 years of age on or before the 30th April of the year in which they are eligible to attend.*
*Children who turn 4 years of age, from January 1 to April 30th, who have not accessed a funded year prior to school can attend one year of a funded kindergarten program when they are 4 or 5 years of age.
Hobsons Bay City Council have a Central Enrolment portal for their 4 year old programs.

Parents/Guardians wishing to enrol their child in the 4 year old program should click here to see information regarding the process, eligibility and kindergarten services.
You can register your child’s name once they have reached 2 years of age.
Your child will start 4 year old kindergarten in: (with the exception if your child is born Jan 1st – April 30th who may start the following year.)

Hobsons Bay City Council shall advise parents/guardians by email, if their child has obtained a place in the 4 year old program. This will happen between July and November of the year prior to the child’s attendance in the program.

All places in the 4 year old program are subject to government funding.
It is essential for parents/guardians to attend the South Kingsville Pre School Annual General Meeting/Information Night held in November. At this meeting parents will receive information required for the child to commence the program in the following year.
